  I am trying to find out how I can get housing for me and my children. I am a single mother with 3 kids and am pregnant. the father is in prison now. I am staying with family right now but it is very crowded and is not permanent. I am trying to find out how to apply for housing assistance.

  my husband passed away Thursday 10/10/2019. we lived off his ssi of 750 a month and I did odd and end jobs to cover the rest of the utilities. we received food stamps but my husband was disabiled and been for years I stayed home and took care of him, that was my choice I do not regret. This last hospital was from 9/24/2019, during this time the landlord sold the property. the new landlords left October rent the 650 but November rent will go up to 750 we would have to find another place to live or I would have to get a job which I wouldn't mind and then have home health come take care of him while I was away. but with his passing there will be no income for November and I really don't want t5o lose the last home I had with him. looking at the ssi website it looks like I may not get any benefits all im asking for is some help till I can take care of his final arrangements and find a job so I can keep my home, I don't want to be a burden on my children, if I have to move in one of them I want it to be because that's what we chose to do not because they had no chose. hes only been gone 3 days I don't have time to do all this and move in whats left this month

  Good morning, I'm seeking assistance with food, housing and a job. I'm able to do almost anything. I've worked for a company for over 24 years and was let go unexpectedly I'm having issues with finding employment. I have management experience for more than 15 years. I have exhausted my savings and resources to pay my bills these last 5 months.
