  Hi I am a single mother working but still struggling to get in a place for my daughter and I. Although I work hard to provide for us I feel I'm going no where. I've been living in a friends 3 bedroom apartment with her and her three kids. My daughter and I sleep in the living room on a couch. I work hard but i can't seem to get a place for us and it has lead to me ask for help.

  I am seeking rental assistance. I was effected by Covid-19 and laid off. I have survived with a part time job since then and my savings. I have depleted every dime and I am at my last. I have managed to pay my rent and utilities. I applied for rental assistance with Catholics Charities but I have not heard anything as far an update. I don't qualify for unemployment because I was only working for 2 1/2 months for the company I was laid off from.
