I'm in desperate need of rental assistance. Do you only help if majority of rent has been paid? I sent in the declaration from the CDC to my rental agency and they need something showing I am reaching out looking for assistance. I haven't even been able to pay last months rent much less this months.

I am in desperate need of rental assistance. I am on disability and I take care of my 81 year old mother. My husband lost his job last March and he has been working on and off for the last few months. We have paid what we can towards our rent each month but our landlord is trying to evict us. We have signed the CDC Declaration but that is only good for so long. We owe $15,500 in accumulated back rent even though we are paying what we can each month. Who can I turn to for help?

I am a Navy Veteran on disability. I was doing ok, and then IRS levied my checks, and it still continues so I fall behind on my other bills. My rent is $1650.00.
