Coupled with rising rates of unemployment and living costs, this has contributed to a growing number of families and individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Research shows that over half of these are women, most with minor children. In addition, those who are homeless often struggle with a complex array of other issues such as addiction, mental health difficulties, abuse, and crime victimization. There are few organizations in the area that provide for the needs of this population, with far fewer accommodations than the growing need.

    Hello. I am 63 years old on disability. I was able to collect on my ex-husband's retirement until February, he passed away 1/23/19. So my income has drastically reduced. Brittany place is currently in the process of evicting me, I have nowhere to go, and no one to help me. I am going to speak to the Magistrate Monday, but I'm lost and feel so alone with nowhere to go. I need rental assistance for 2 months. Are you able to help me in any way possible?

    I am currently living on a friends couch and have a 3 month old, I have a full time job that pays $11.00 an hour but need assistance to get my own place. Can you help?
