The OFB Emergency Assistance Programs assist individuals/families in securing resources to address financial crises. OFB employs trained Family Advocates, who provide emergency assistance including, but not limited to, food, clothing, shelter(rent/mortgage), prescription drugs, fuel, and transportation. Although these programs focus on an acute need at a current point in an individual/family’s life, OFB staff utilizes a Family Development approach, which is strength-based and utilizes an individual’s own attributes and potential resources to attain their personal goals.
