Damascus Help

Damascus Help Inc is a Charitable, 100% volunteer organization dedicated to provide emergency assistance to the Damascus and surrounding communities. Service Area: Zip codes 20871, 20872, 20882 north of Brink Rd and 20876 from route 27 north of Brink Rd. On a case by case basis they provide help to people who live over the Montgomery County line in Monrovia (Frederick County).
Mission Statement: The purpose of this corporation is exclusively charitable, as the term used in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We provide assistance to needy persons and families in the upper portion of Montgomery County, MD and adjacent areas in the form of emergency food, holiday food baskets and gifts, transportation, furniture and emergency financial assistance. No one shall be denied service because of race, color, creed, age, sex or marital status.

    I am writing you because I am currently three months pregnant and I am two months behind on my rent and more then six months behind on my water bill. I have been making payments to the landlord on time for my current payments are up to date. My fiance has lost his job due to getting injured on the job. And since he is the only working at the time I am depending on his check. We are all payed up for February but the upcoming month we have not paid yet since the back payment needs to be paid. I really need some help so if there is anything you can do please contact me directly. Thank you and god bless.
