  Hello. I was self employed until the pandemic hit and my business failed. I was able to keep my head above water thanks to the stimulus assistance with additional unemployment funds. However, now that that is expired and no new help on the way (possible $300 a week, if it comes, would be temporary at best), I do not have October rent nor do I see any way of having any ability to pay rent until I find work, which is proving difficult due to my age, skill set and limited mobility and transportation. Is there any way your organization might be able to help us with our rent issue for this month at least? Thank you for your time.

  I am needing help with rental assistance. I have been unemployed since March because of the pandemic. I just secured a job on Dec. 1st 2020 and was able to pay rent up until the additional unemployment expired. I am behind in rent and I only get $66 a week from unemployment which has ended because of my new job. My landlord is wanting to start eviction proceedings if he does not get a payment ASAP. If there is anyway that you can help me I would be eternally grateful. I am at a loss here and don't want to lose my home.
