CHAD is a nonprofit organization whose is to provide and advocate for quality, affordable housing for low-to-moderate income persons in DuPage County.About Community Housing Association of Community Housing Association of DuPage (CHAD) was founded in 1983 as a separate 501c3 corporation in response to an overwhelming lack of affordable housing for low-to-moderate income residents. CHAD meets its by creating inventory; it started with six rental units and today has 365 rentals and 29 homeownership properties. CHAD continues to purchase, build, rent and manage quality housing that is priced below market rate and saves our tenants more than $500,000 in rent annually and allows moderate-income people to purchase a home. We consistently seek creative development strategies to create more housing that is truly affordable, maintains quality, and meets middle to lower income people s needs. CHAD builds, purchases, rehabs, rents, and manages quality, affordable housing rentals in DuPage County, Illinois. CHAD develops affordable rentals so that those who work in DuPage
