Community Development Division of Land Use - WILL COUNTY offers program that called the Rapid Housing and Re-Housing Prevention Program (HPRP), is being distributed based on the formula used for the Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) program. Grantors may provide assistance with rent or services to eligible Participants who live or wish to live outside their jurisdiction. They may also fund ubgrants that serve persons outside the jurisdiction, sub-grantes outside the jurisdiction, and sub-grantees that serve several jurisdictions. The Grant Recipient may establish stricter requirements, such as requiring HPRP funds to be spent within the jurisdiction or requiring residence, but the HUD does not establish these requirements.
