Webster County Community Services - General Assistance can offer short-term financial assistance to qualified persons residing in Webster County for things such as: Rent Utilities Transportation for medical care Prescription medications Cremation expenses Assistance is limited to the following: "Poor Persons", meaning person who have no property, exempt or otherwise, who are unable, because of physical or mental disabilities, to earn a living by labor. "Needy Persons", who are those not meeting the definition in #1 above, yet meeting the financial eligibility of the Webster County General Assistance policies. Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
