Mid-Iowa Community Action - MICA's family development programs are designed to help low-income families rise out of poverty.
Our family development model utilizes one-on-one meetings with families to develop goals, manage finances, and provide support and assistance.
We maintain five family development centers as the base of operations for these services in Hardin, Marshall, Tama, Story, and Poweshiek counties.
Mission Statement: MICA provides opportunities to people in vulnerable situations. We equip them to achieve stability, security, and success. We collaborate with families and partners to create communities where fewer people find themselves in poverty, and those who do have a path out.
