Jacksonville Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher Program

Jacksonville Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher HUD Section 8 Program provides rental assistance and utility subsidies to households that meet income requirements in order to lease privately owned dwellings that meet the minimum housing standards. Eligibility is based on income, family composition and specific program requirements. Participants are re-certified annually for continued eligibility. Participants are responsible for seeking and selecting housing unit of choice. Through this program eligible families and individuals are provided the opportunity to live in affordable, safe, decent and sanitary housing.

    I live in Spokane Wa,I have a housing choice voucher that I would use to port with can you explain it to me, I would like to be set up with a apartment before I got there, Im just inquiring for now
