Englewood helping hand, inc. is an independent non-profit 501(c) agency serving the Englewood, Florida area. EHH is a community supported human services agency that provides short term assistance to Englewood residents as well as residents of Charlotte and Sarasota counties. The agency provides assistance with direct human services, referrals, and the coordination of services with other agencies both private and government. All services are provided free of charge to the residents of Englewood and the immediate surrounding areas. Financial Aid (for families and individuals in crisis): Assistance for rent, mortgage, utility bills Documentation of crisis required and dependent upon availability of funds Any financial aid is paid directly to the provider, NO payments are made directly to the clients. I need asistance with my rent. I cannot move at this time due to the virus. I am 88 and my husband is 95. He is blind and we need help paying our rent which is over $2500 per month.
