Ease Foundation Emergency Assistance Service Effort, founded in 1988, is here today because of the business community and residents of Davie. Their purpose is to aid those qualified residents, on a one time basis, that are in need of temporary assistance. Their objective is to help those in need to ease their way back into a self-sustaining, productive life. Their focus is on the many families within their community who find themselves in need of assistance with child care, education, rent and utility help. Since they are a non-profit organization, all funding for their programming and emergency assistance has come from private and corporate donations, fundraising and grants.
