Save Our Section 8 Colorado  offers Housing Choice Voucher Program (formerly Section 8) provides rental assistance to income-eligible tenants by subsidizing a portion of their monthly rent and utilities and paying it directly to their landlords.  In cases where utilities are not included in rent, the program may pay a larger portion of the rent so that the tenant is able to afford utility payments. The assistance provided is the difference between what the tenant pays toward rent (generally 30%-40% of the household’s adjusted gross income) and the cost of the rent.

    I have a chance to finally move into a home with my section 8 but Im on disabilty and its difficult to get help with my deposit. I really need help this has been jard to find a house and I'm nervous that my section 8 might be taken away. Please help. I am from aurora

    I want help with a rental increase we can't afford. We are seniors living on Social Security and paying over half our income on housing right now with utilities considered. We each have a disability but are not on SSDI. I would like to know if you are still in existence and if you can help us by subsidizing part of the rent increase.
