The objective of the People Helping People is to keep housing stable for individuals and families, avoiding eviction or re-housing of individuals and families as soon as possible after an eviction. In general, imminent eviction is required and income standards must be met. Housing must meet federal market cost and occupancy standards. Click here for the HUD income eligibility standards. A drug test is required. Rental payments can only be made to the landlord/owner and documentation of a lease or rental agreement is required. Reservations are required because of the need to record revenue and other items.
