The Primavera Foundation promotes economic and social justice while working to build a future in which all people are assured basic human rights, a livable income, and safe, affordable housing. The Foundation does this through community education and advocacy while providing a continuum of services that address homelessness and poverty. Primavera provides walk-in services for people who are homeless or are facing eviction. Such needed help includes case management, rental, mortgage and move-in assistance, referrals to emergency and transitional services and help with basic needs, such as food, clothing and transportation. Rental Housing: Primavera is committed to providing safe, affordable housing options to women, men, couples, and families. Eligibility: Primavera's housing programs are meant for people and families who: * Are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless * Desire a drug and alcohol free environment * Are willing to complete an application and interview as part of the application process * Will actively participate in individual success planning and follow program rules and regulations * income qualify Apply for Rental Housing: You can apply for housing program: 1. In-Person: visit any of these office. An appointment is not required. Primavera is located at 702 S. 6th Avenue, and is open 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Afternoon appointments on these days may be scheduled by calling (520) 882-5383. Our Family Services is located at 2590 N Alvernon Way, between Grant and Glenn. Walk-in hours are: Tuesdays from 10 am – 1 pm; Wednesdays from 1 pm - 4 pm, and Thursdays from 10 am – 1 pm. Other agencies in Tucson and Pima County, including some behavioral health providers, also administer the VI-SPDAT. Call your agency to learn if it administers the VI-SPDAT and the agency's requirements and times.
